Therapeutic massage is a very common choice for people who have specific issues that need treating, therapeutic and relaxation massage are often combined to get the best possible results. This style of massage encompasses a wide range of advanced techniques that include, myofascial and trigger point release, deep tissue, joint mobilization, positional release and stretching. These techniques can be used in conjunction with one another and are used to treat conditions like tendinitis, scoliosis, sprains, strains, runners knee, plantar fasciitis and more. This treatment also includes cupping.

Therapeutic Relaxation Massage

Deep tissue massage is a great treatment for chronic pain or stiffness in the shoulders, low back and legs, often utilized by athletes and people who are required to sit or stand for long periods. It is a massage technique that targets the deep layers of muscle that are not as easily reached with other massage techniques. It uses slow sustained and often static pressure to target affected muscles. Deep tissue does not mean that the technique will hurt but it can cause discomfort. Everyone will experience deep tissue massage differently. It is often incorporated into a 60-minute therapeutic massage treatment. This treatment also includes cupping.
